Working Principles

  First, sewage passes through a screen to remove some relatively large particles of waste. After screen treatment, it flows by gravity into the equalization tank. Wastewater from the equalization tank is then pumped to the hydrolysis acidification tank. In the hydrolysis acidification tank, biological hydrolysis (anoxic conditions) breaks down large organic pollutants into smaller molecules, hydrolyzes insoluble organic matter into soluble substances, and transforms difficult-to-degrade substances into easily biodegradable substances, improving the biodegradability of the sewage and creating favorable biochemical conditions for subsequent aerobic treatment.
    After hydrolysis acidification, the sewage flows by gravity into the aerobic tank. In the aerobic tank, under the action of forced aeration, aerobic microorganisms convert BOD5 in the water into carbon dioxide and water, and ammonia nitrogen into nitrate, completing the removal of BOD5 and ammonia nitrogen. After aerobic treatment, the sewage flows by gravity into the MBR (Medium-Oxygen Blender) tank. In the MBR tank, under forced aeration, the above process is repeated. The sludge concentration in the MBR tank remains high. The MBR membrane has high filtration precision, and no sludge is carried out in the effluent. It effectively retains nitrifying bacteria and has high nitrogen removal efficiency. The effluent from the MBR tank is pumped into a clear water tank, filtered, and then disinfected. Finally, the effluent meets the standards before being discharged or reused for vehicle washing or landscaping.
